The Taskopen Family Ao Dai Coordinated Set is Taskopen’s most comprehensive ready-to-wear offering — a four-piece coordinated set comprising a women’s ao dai, a men’s ao dai coat, a girls’ ao dai, and a boys’ ao dai coat, all constructed from the same fabric and coordinated embroidery program so that an entire family appears in harmonious traditional dress for the Tet family photograph, the cultural celebration, or the heritage occasion that brings generations together in traditional dress. The family set is designed around the practical reality of dressing a family for a photograph occasion: the visual coordination must be immediately and clearly apparent to the viewer, but each individual piece must also be appropriate and comfortable for its wearer’s age, gender, and size. Taskopen achieves this through a shared fabric and color story — all four pieces are cut from the same silk-blend fabric in the same colorway — and a graduated embroidery program where the embroidery motif and scale are adjusted to be appropriate for each garment size while maintaining the same design vocabulary throughout. The adults’ garments carry the full embroidery in the standard Taskopen specification for the chosen colorway. The children’s garments carry a simplified version of the same motifs at a smaller scale proportional to the garment size.
